What is a Referral Program?

  1. Tata Sky Referral Program is a reward based referral program for the subscribers of Tata Sky.
  2. The Subscribers of Tata Sky having an active account status are eligible to refer a new Subscriber to Tata Sky (‘Prospective Subscriber‘).
  3. The Referral Program is valid from 1 February 2019 for participation through SMS and from 11 April 2019 for participation through Tata Sky Website. 
  4. Upon referral by a Subscriber, the Prospective Subscriber will be contacted by the Tata Sky for account activation. 

What is a Referral Benefit?

  • Once activation of the prospective subscriber connection is completed , the subscriber who referred becomes eligible to get Rs. 300.
  • And also the new subscriber gets a discount of Rs. 500 on the time of purchase of Tata Sky HD Box.

Methods of Participation:

A Subscriber can refer a Prospective Subscriber to Tata Sky through following mode:

  • Tata Sky website: visit www.tatasky.com/refer to participate in the Referral program.
  • A Subscriber can refer using email, Social media like Facebook post, Facebook messenger, Twitter, Whatsapp, SMS or manually entering the friend’s details as well as copying his/her unique referral link and sharing through other platforms
  • Through SMS: A Subscriber can text: Refer <Mobile Number> to 56633, from his/her RMN (primary/alternate).

Terms and Conditions:

The following persons are not eligible to avail the referral program.

  • Business Associates of Tata Sky including dealers, advertising agencies and employees are not eligible.
  • Persons involved with the promotion such as content partners, vendors, agencies 
  • The subscriber and the referred subscriber are required to provide all the information needed by the Tata Sky.
  • Only an active Tata Sky subscriber can refer a new subscriber.
  • The subscriber cannot refer an existing Tata Sky customer.
  • A regular residential customer only can refer. Agents or employees of tata Sky cannot refer.
  • The referral benefit will be a one time credit and not a recurring monthly credit.
  • A subscriber can refer upto 100 new subsribers but receive the referral credit for only 3 referrals after new successful activation.
